Graphic Designer – Coastal Outdoor Advertising (02082019)

Description

Graphic Designer will create award winning, strategically driven creative for customers to improve their business. Responsible for developing innovative art concepts in the production of advertising, marketing projects & campaigns. You will work with Director of Strategic Planning & Account Executives to execute successful concepts/campaigns that meet client objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, design and create outdoor media ads to meet client’s marketing objectives
- Research information and materials on the history/objectives/target audience of the client & their business
- Illustrate concept by designing layout of art and copy
- Provide contracted & speculative art to promote sales
- Prepare notes & instruction to printer for vinyl
- Seamlessly work with other company departments to create supporting materials with keen objectives & value
- Collaborate with sales & clients on marketing objectives & messaging
- Use creative expertise to interpret client vision
- Effectively & professionally present work to sales and/or client
- Professionally educate client on the parameters that define successful OOH campaigns
- Maintain a repository for all creative work
- Have regular, effective & professional communication within the creative department as well as other company departments
- Create, evolve, & maintain brand identity materials
- Follow work flow process & procedures and aid in streamlining process when applicable to be more efficient
- Assist department heads with needs involving process, procedures, art requests, etc.
- Stay abreast of ever changing software and hardware tools and the opportunities they provide
- Take initiative to go above & beyond the “ask”
- Manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
- Research outdoor marketing trends & present any new/valuable information to staff
- Create & implement a social media schedule & create mobile designs that shows Coastal Outdoor as true innovators & visionaries of the OOH industry
- Stay abreast of goings on within the community and in other markets, differentiate our creative from other markets
- Create a positive working environment

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent work experience

Experience

Minimum three years of solid, hands on graphic design experience

Other Requirements

- Excellent Graphic Design skills
- Strong artistic abilities
- Keen sense of deadlines
- Extensive experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dream Weaver Premier, After Effects, etc
- Strong time management skills
- Experience with HTML & S.E.O a plus
- Strong organizational & time management skills
- Acute attention to detail including spelling, grammar & composition skills
- Thorough understanding of outdoor marketing & trends
- Experienced in customer service
- Has a professional and collaborative style
- Able to demonstrate flexibility
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Able to take & give constructive criticism professionally
- Self-accountable
- Must possess originality
- Experience with print specifications, file management & set up
