Job Description:
Overall responsibility will include preparation, negotiation, and management of legal documents, including, but not limited to, lease agreements and associated documents for all Company properties and assist General Counsel and Associate Counsel with various legal matters upon request.

• Perform legal administration activities for all assigned Company properties (with said property list approved by General/Associate Counsel) including, but not limited to, preparation of all lease documentation and correspondence, coordinating with outside counsel, Commercial Leasing, Finance and Risk Management on all lease document drafts as needed through execution, management of all original lease documents and lease files, updating and maintaining master forms, updating and maintaining all relevant reports (as described in detail below), communicating with tenant and tenant representatives, and providing backup to other Legal Administrative Associates as needed
• Manage tenant evictions and legal collection actions
• Assist in the preparation of lease synopsis; scanning and maintenance of duratran/advertising agreements; preparation of kiosk agreements; preparation of license agreements; and maintenance of the legal agreement database
• Prepare legal documents, draft correspondence and work on special projects within the legal department as directed by General/Associate Counsel in a proficient manner
• Maintain the lease tracking reports, including Lease Execution Report; Lease Restrictions and Exclusives Report; Lease Agreement Tracking Report; Lender Approval Report; and Tenant Legal Status Report
• Coordinate with lenders to ensure compliance with all lender requirements for encumbered properties and maintain a lender contact list for all outstanding loans
• Coordinate with all Legal Administrative Associates regarding lease documentation and lease file management
• Maintain and update Legal Administration policies and procedures as needed
• Lease review and interpretation as requested by property managers, Commercial Leasing, Finance, and/or Lease Administration under the supervision and guidance of General/Associate Counsel


Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Real Estate or other related field, preferred


Minimum 4 years in legal related field


Valid driver’s license, SC Notary Public

• Required to work flexible schedule based on the needs of the business
