Sales Assistant
SC - Myrtle Beach


Full time position is responsible for assisting and supporting the sales team’s efforts to meet and exceed revenue goals. This individual will provide day to day administrative needs for pre & post sale activities including sales related paperwork & research to assist Account Executives in the sales process.
- Manage & maintain professional working relationship with all AEs and also internal personnel, external clients, agencies and out of home buying services
- Learn the sales process and assist in customer data management
- Provide excellent customer service with follow up on any/all requests on behalf of the AEs
- Coordinate & process proposals, contracts, work orders, paper request forms, client posting instructions, completion reports, credit checks and any other paperwork associated with completing the sales process as requested
- Help to coordinate & track production activities and provide POP reports (Proof of Performance) upon completion of installation and/or digital posting
- Develop a clear understanding of Apparatix in order to create applicable paperwork accordingly
- Provide assistance in monitoring campaigns, update reports & troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Analyze performance data and develop post campaign reporting
- Assist in researching and brainstorming ideas for generating incremental revenue
- Learn to present marketing proposals/presentations, nurture a lead & close a deal
- Work collaboratively with multiple departments (e.g. account, creative, operations, finance) to achieve objectives & optimize revenue through strategic & creative means
- Develop & foster costumer relationships to drive new business , renewals, & up-sells to clients
- Manage & complete RFP’s under tight deadlines
- Resolve client inquiries by involving appropriate resources
- Master inventory knowledge of the Florence-Myrtle Beach DMA & continually seek to grow knowledge of other markets & top DMAs
- Liaise with sales, billing & collections teams to assist with the billing process
- Assist in the development of national sales strategies
- Develop and maintain a project pipeline and calendar to keep sales team updated on all sales marketing activities
- Coordinate & attend chamber & networking events as required by management
- Provide sales team with tailored OOH media packages based on specific client marketing objectives
- Support and coordinate marketing initiatives such as webinars, client appreciation efforts and marketing campaigns
- Research and implement continuing education and development initiatives for sales team
- Conduct product and market research for proposal targeting
- Update job knowledge and remain on top of marketing and revenue trends by participating in educational opportunities, reading trade publications and participating in relevant webinars
- Stay abreast of industry trends & consumer data & behaviors
- Assist in the development of sales and marketing materials


Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or advertising preferred


Minimum one year previous sales or marketing related administrative experience.
