Outdoor Advertising Sales Manager

Job Summary:
Drive revenue on our assets through a deep understanding of clients’ needs and the local marketplace, coaching and guiding the sales team, and successfully delivering company initiatives.
Job Responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
Management:
- Recruit sales talent, develop & clearly provide sales staff with direction, objectives, goals and budgets
- Be result oriented; enforce accountability; manage team performance and holds team accountable against business metrics
- Ensure professional development to enhance work knowledge, skills and abilities
- Manage all house accounts
- Ensure completion of work responsibilities and special projects in accordance with the designated timeframe, as determined by the President
- Set high standard of consistency, professionalism, ethical business practices, positive work environment
- Adhere to Company ethical requirements, demonstrating the utmost integrity in all professional and personal matters
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, guidelines, expectations and requirements
- Provide President with feedback, ideas and suggestions to improve company processes & procedures & asset performance
- Perform all other duties as assigned by President and work in collaboration with staff
- Network with local and national advertisers

Revenue:
- Oversee advertising sales activities in the market; is accountable for achieving & exceeding targeted advertising sales revenues for the market
- Implement business strategies to generate sales & revenue
- Set sales goals and guide subsequent goal setting processes
- Prepare annual, quarterly, monthly budget & revenue forecasts
- Ability to understand and evaluate KPI in the market and be agile enough to shift focus to take advantage of the market
- Oversee management of available advertising inventory to drive most profitable sales as well as maximize asset value

Development & Training:
- Effectively manage sales meetings for efficiency and provide knowledge based information
- Direct sales activities and processes that generate new business & deepen existing relationships
- Meet weekly with each individual account executive to coach, train, & oversee employee actions, strengths/areas of improvement and implement a performance improvement plan
- Spearhead creation & implementation of all sales materials & selling tools
- Recruit, hire and ensure ongoing training and development of account executives
- Go on sales calls and conduct in-field coaching to develop account executives
- Measure accomplishments, give useful feedback, delegate & develop account executives
- Equip sales staff with sales tools, sales training, feedback, motivation, incentives
- Perform yearly evaluations of staff & implement development plans
- Preplan sales targets & strategies with AEs on an individual basis to maximize efficiency & time management results
- Develop self-improvement growth by following & studying the industry, attending conferences & networking with local groups

Leadership:
- Skilled at getting individuals, teams & organization to perform at a higher level and to embrace change if necessary
- Can model positive energy and handle stress in the face of challenges, deadlines, & pressure
- Leads strategic development of marketing programs and digital strategies
- Promote a synergistic relationship with team members in all department and divisions

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in related field

Experience

Minimum 3 years experience in work related field

Certifications

Must have valid driver's license
